SMS / Texting

The SMS Magic Trigger allows an AI Agent to send a text message directly to the customer during the conversation. This is ideal for sharing links, appointment confirmations, or instructions without breaking the call flow.

Trigger Phrases

I will text the link now.
I have texted you a link.
I have sent you a link.

Action

  • When the AI Agent uses one of these phrases, it sends a text message to the customer’s phone number on file.

  • Messages can be personalized with dynamic content such as:

Hi {name}, please use this {TaalkAppointmentURL} to follow up on your appointment.

Regulation Compliance

  • 10DLC / A2P Requirement: Your Caller ID must be registered for Application-to-Person (A2P) messaging or 10-Digit Long Code (10DLC) compliance in order to send SMS.
