# SMS Short URL and Click-Through Tracking

1. Automatic Short URL Generation: Taalk offers a built-in function to create short URLs for your SMS campaigns. Using our domain, cemgpt.com, URLs are automatically shortened to keep messages concise and user-friendly. Each URL remains active for 14 days.
2. Click-Through Rate (CTR) Tracking: Taalk tracks the click-through rate on these short URLs, allowing you to measure engagement directly from the campaign UI. This metric provides insight into how many recipients are interacting with the links, helping you gauge the effectiveness of your SMS outreach. This click-through rate is displayed on the Analytics Tile, providing an at-a-glance view of recipient engagement with your SMS content.
