Taalk Voice Phone Line Customization

Taalk Voice gives you the flexibility to customize phone lines so your agents know exactly where calls are coming from and can receive real-time support from AI. Customizations include unique ringtones for different lead sources and adding Co-Pilot AI agents to assist during calls.


🎵 Setting Custom Ringtones

Custom ringtones make it easy for agents to recognize the type of call before answering.

  1. Navigate to Marketplace > Caller IDs.

  2. Select Reserved.

     

    • If you have Taalk Voice enabled, you’ll see your Reserved Line listed.

     

  3. Click the line you want to customize.

  4. In the Customization section, select a ringtone.

  5. Save your changes.

Agents will now hear the assigned ringtone when calls come in on that line.

 

Use different ringtones for different lead sources so agents can quickly identify call type (e.g., warm transfer vs web lead).

 

 


🤖 Adding a Co-Pilot AI Agent

Co-Pilot AI sits in the background during calls and provides:

  • Real-time compliance guidance

  • Suggested responses and prompts

  • Knowledge base lookups and AI-enhanced insights

  • Transfer to others API endpoint with Data

How to Add:

  1. In the same Customization panel, select Co-Pilot AI.

  2. Choose the AI agent you want to assign.

  3. Bind the number to your inbound campaign.

Once enabled, your AI agent will support human agents directly in the Taalk Voice UI.

You need to create such AI Agent in the AI Workforce

Every customized phone line can be bound to a specific inbound campaign. This ensures:

  • Calls are tracked accurately

  • Reporting clearly shows which campaign generated which calls

  • Supervisors can monitor call performance across different lead sources
