This guide walks you through how to request and configure a custom short link for SMS campaigns with Taalk.

Option 1 – Taalk Provides the Domain (Recommended)

Submit a Request

  • Contact Taalk Support or your Account Manager to request a custom short URL.

Domain & SSL Setup

  • Taalk will provision a branded short domain for you.

  • We’ll also obtain and configure the SSL certificate to ensure links are secure (HTTPS).

System Integration

  • Once the domain is ready, Taalk will add it into your account.

  • Your SMS campaigns will begin sending links using your new short URL.

Option 2 – Use Your Own Domain

If you already have a domain you’d like to use for branded SMS links, we can configure it for you.

Prepare Your Domain

  • Identify the domain or subdomain you want to use (e.g., txt.yourbrand.com).

Grant Taalk DNS Access

  • Add Taalk as a DNS administrator (or share DNS access with our team).

  • Alternatively, we can provide DNS record details for you to add manually.

Mapping & SSL

  • Taalk will configure the DNS mapping and provision SSL for your domain.

System Integration

  • Once mapped, we’ll port the domain into Taalk so your SMS campaigns can start using it.
